The Doorbell Comedy Club
Comic Relief, one of Amazon UK’s flagship charities, has been a beloved part of British culture since its founding in 1985. Each year, its iconic Red Nose Day brings the nation together, using comedy to raise funds for critical causes. Amazon being the home of the nose, our brief was to amplify Red Nose Day 2025 by turning awareness into action and aiming to raise £3 million through Red Nose Day sales.
Amazon knows a thing or two about delivery. But when it comes to delivering jokes, we could use a little help. So we teamed up with beloved comedian Guz Khan who helps an Amazon driver learn how to deliver a ‘knock-knock’ joke in a chaotic comedy bootcamp. Meanwhile Catherine Bohart engages in a battle of jokes with Alexa. Together with Ring video doorbells, we turned every doorstep in the UK into a comedy club inviting Brits to share their best knock-knock joke. A custom landing page on Amazon.Com and Fire TV allowed folks to learn more about the movement and shop red noses.
